Terms & Conditions

1. The ‘Siemens Privilege Club' promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

2. Employees and immediate family members of Siemens and CPW, their associated companies, organisations, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to take part.

3. The ‘Siemens Privilege Club' promotion commences on 1st February 2005 and will be open to consumers purchasing the SL65 or S65 handset from the Carphone Warehouse whilst stocks last. The closing date for membership registration is 30th June 2005 at
12.00 noon GMT.

4. To qualify for complimentary membership the Siemens Privilege Club the consumers must purchase either a Siemens SL65 or S65 handset from The Carphone Warehouse (subject to availability) while promotional stocks last.

5. Customers who return their Siemens mobile phone within the 14 days trial period will not qualify for this promotion and will not receive membership to the Siemens Privilege Club or RClub.

6. One ‘Siemens Privilege Club' membership per person. Customers must complete the quick application form (details of which can be found at the back of this booklet) by telephone, post, fax or via the internet. Upon receipt of this information, RClub will issue a membership number and username. Customers must then complete the RClub registration form before the 30th June 2005 to receive their complimentary membership.

7. The Siemens Privilege Club membership is not transferable and cannot be re-sold. There is no cash alternative to this offer. No correspondence will be entered into.

8. Membership to the Siemens Privilege Club is complimentary for the duration of one year from the date of the receipt of the membership card. However, members will be asked to provide credit card details to be held by the Renaissance Club. This information is to be used for membership renewal at the end of the free membership period. You will be contacted prior to any money being charged to your credit card asking you to confirm renewal of your membership.

9. In keeping with the Renaissance Club operating a continuous membership policy; a renewal letter will be sent out towards the end of the year's complimentary membership. It is the consumer's responsibility to decline the renewal and terminate their membership should consumers not wish to continue being a member to the Siemens Privilege Club or RClub. If renewal is not declined, the wish to renew will be assumed. The appropriate fee will then be charged to the credit or debit card listed for a member (£9.95 per month)

10. It is a member's responsibility to keep their personal information, as held by the Club, updated throughout the course of membership, particularly in regard to payment and contact details (e.g. valid credit card and up to date email addresses). The Siemens Privilege Club cannot therefore, be held responsible should we attempt to communicate with a Member who has an incorrect address on our system.

11. This promotion is administered on the behalf of the Promoter Siemens Plc, Siemens House, Oldbury, Bracknell, Berkshire , RG12 8FZ by The Renaissance Club Ltd, 48 Western Lane , London , SW12 8JS.

Data Protection: The information and data ("personal data") which is provided by you in connection with the ‘Siemens Privilege Club Promotion will be held on the computers and manual records of, and will be used by, Siemens, our promotional partners and affiliates, official suppliers and any other suppliers of goods and services that Siemens believes may be of interest to you.

Applicable Law: These terms of use shall be governed by, and construed exclusively in accordance with, English law. Any dispute arising under these terms of use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and by entering this promotion you hereby submit to and waive any objections to the jurisdiction of such courts.
